The Latin American Bunny Who Made It To Hollywood.
Alejandra Gutiérrez is a popular Venezuelan actress and model who was born in 1979 to a Venezuelan mother and a Spanish father. She grew up in Caracas and moved to Miami in 1996 to pursue dance as a career, then quickly side stepped dancing to chase the Hollywood dream. Starting in 1998, she began appearing on Miami television shows, mainly on Spanish TV channels. It wasn’t long before she hit the big screen.
Alejandra may be best known to international audiences for her roles in various movies such as Smokin’ Stogies (2001), Latin Dragon (2004), Cachimba (2004), Carlita’s Secret (2004), and Accepted (2006). She has also appeared on the hit TV shows Entourage and Nip/Tuck.
Her acting career first took off prior to doing film and television, when she landed the title of Miss Playboy TV Latin American 2001, a role that allowed her to travel the world, increase her exposure and meet important industry contacts.
“My deal with Playboy was very different because I was the first one to become a spokesperson for Playboy Español and DirectTV Latin America. It was very different from what you see with a Playmate. I never had my picture taken with Hugh Hefner at the mansion.”
In addition to making her an official magazine spokesmodel, Playboy also rewarded Alejandra by naming her Playmate of the Month for October 2001, in their Latin America edition, where she was featured on the cover and had a sultry centerfold spread.
Being the Latin edition of Playboy, not too many people in the United States got to see this voluptuous Venezuelan’s magazine spread. Lucky for us, we were able to find the 2001 magazine photos on the internet. Hope you enjoy them, they’re exquisite. Disfrutalas!
